Friendly PSA to all folks-- remember to sanitize your links! Youtube in particular adds tracking information to the ends of "share" links but you can safely delete it before posting and the link will still work perfectly fine. To illustrate, I've attached an image of a dirty link.
That "?si=..." is what Google wants to use to scrape data from your use of the link, seeing where you're clicking from and how you found it. Google already has a lot of our data, so we can absolutely say "fuck you, get bent" to Google and remove this stuff.
To sanitize the link, all you need to do is delete everything after the "?". Now you have a nice clean link to a video of Gordon Lightfoot's "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald"!
