I fear neither scaling mountains nor software. Oh, and frying bacon while shirtless. I don't fear that either.

I do not speak for my employer.

From the 2025 Bay Area Maker Faire, here's SpaceframeSCAD, my 3D printable space frame library so I could print fairly large lit-up things that still pack into ziploc bags.

My window fan's knob broke so I quickly designed and printed a replacement, just like on Star Trek.

It's not quite an exact duplicate partially because I wanted to make it a bit easier to grasp but also because I didn't want to spend an afternoon polishing my knob

Been trying to get more of my little @OpenSCAD toys and tools posted, so here's a recipe box that I used to organize my seeds: https://www.printables.com/model/1223759-openscad-parametric-recipe-box-and-divider

My spouse wanted rack of lamb, risotto, and duck fat french french fries for a rescheduled-for-a-convenient-day-instead-of-birthday meal.

So I made rack of lamb (reverse seared), parsnip puree, risotto, cold-oil duck fat french fries, and a brandy-peppercorn-cream gravy.

Anyway it's her project to reveal but here's the carpet that's been freed up, in celebration.

I was talking with a friend lately about art and our projects and "What next, should I have a computer that eats my dinner and fucks my wife?" kept appearing in my head, so here it is again.

I was trying to figure out how to do this on my new Pixel with an upgraded Android and, of course, the AI answer from Google's AI was wrong.

This is an unforced error because they could have totally loaded it with the right answers for their own products.

Extraordinarily useful message, thanks Google:
My Voron is finally printing: https://www.wirewd.com/make/voron0v2
Voron 0.2 R1 build

I figured it was worth making a build log for a Voron printer, because I guess everybody does. Why a Voron Zero: It's an enclosed printer to promote healthy geekroom air quality through the use of an enclosure and an air filter. It's CoreXY and Klipper and therefore has a lot of opportunities for…
