Just set up a small wearables exhibit for this weekend's #BayAreaMakerFaire. I'll be giving workshops today and a talk tomorrow as well, so it's going to be a (fun) busy weekend!
Thank you to everyone who visited the #meshtastic booth last weekend at the Bay Area Maker Faire 2024 in San Francisco! It was inspiring to connect with so many creators and innovators. Special thanks to our friends at Seeed Studio, LilyGo, and Rokland—meeting in person was such treat! Enjoy a few snapshots from the event! #BayAreaMakerFaire #Innovation #GratefulForCommunity

If you missed my booth at the Bay Area Maker Faire, I updated the page with a textual version of what I was showing:

Mass Customization with 3D printed systems

Hanging out at Bay Area Maker Faire running the ElectroMage Booth for @wizard this weekend, while being a rather legit wizard myself. For the few of you here, we're in Coal Shed 3 with the coolest LED booth hawking Pixelblaze LED controllers ✨ I like meeting fellow elephants 🎉

Mass Customization with 3D printed systems

It may be tempting to 3D print the same thing again and again, but it is cheaper and faster to make the same thing using molding techniques. In order to really use the unique advantages of 3D printing, printed objects should be unique. They should be customized to an person or small group of people's needs. At the same time, getting good at CAD isn't easy. However, there are physical systems, generated by code or parametric modeling, that work with 3D printing's core advantages and are easier to use. I'd like to show off some of the community-generated systems for organization that take advantage of this mass customization such as the Honeycomb Storage Wall and the Gridfinity system, along with metal extrusions, as an example of how to take advantage of 3D printing's unique advantages

Maker Faire

I'll be at Bay Area Maker Faire running the Electromage (Pixelblaze) booth in Coal Shed 3 next weekend.

And I'll be at Hackaday Supercon two weekends later.

Who will I see?
