"The shelter gave us this doormat, isn't it cute?" Zoey told us as we carried in her queen bed and bedding. "We moved in yesterday and we are just so excited" she beamed. Her daughter Violet came out to greet us and smiled shyly as we brought in the bed frame and basket. These are their shoes on *their* doorstep ❤ Congratulations, Zoey and Violet! We wish you peace and happiness in your new home.

We're happy to welcome Monarch Services as a partner! When mothers flee domestic violence, they can't always take their children's vital docs with them. But a birth certificate is generally required to enroll kids in a new school - which they may need to do to get away from their abusive spouse. Also, single parents often rely on their kids being enrolled in school so they have time to work. Monarch can now refer their clients to Wings for birth certificates! https://www.monarchscc.org

We're proud to announce that as a community, we housed 530 households last year! A big part of this success was the Rehousing Wave.

Begun Oct. 1, 2021, the Rehousing Wave transitioned highly vulnerable adults and families from COVID-era shelters to permanent housing utilizing the Emergency Housing Voucher (EHV) program.

Wings worked with the three Rehousing Wave agencies and provided beds, bedding, and essential households supplies to 89 households from the Rehousing Wave
