The ethical trap about large language models goes like this:
1) we want to train an AI to be like a human. Take all the work of humanity and put it in a bottle.
2) look in the bottle
3) Gee. Humanity is not very nice, is it?
4) OK, so we don't dare accurately reflect how humanity is (even if we can). Let’s only put stuff in the bottle that reflects how humanity SHOULD BE.
5) Now, who gets to decide what we include?
