@dbanty @rivten i doubt that is the case, they will just move the dependencies into a separate optional package. This will allow them to build zig by itself and still leverage the LLVM backend as needed.

@nixCraft so true, self-hosting something on AWS is not cheaper than just paying the software dev for a SaaS version especially if you are only paying for a couple of services

When I visit old temples, I touch the stone walls and try to listen to all the things people have whispered standing next to them for thousands of years. If those walls could speak, what stories would they tell us? Is the stone tired of listening to the same stories over and over for centuries or does it listen intently to each story because each story is different?
