I think Musk has passed the event horizon of the Trump Feedback Loop: You make a series of decisions that alienate smart, competent people & attract a bunch of cranks, weirdos, and deranged halfwits. So you get terrible advice and a skewed view of the world, leading to more decisions that [etc etc]

Honestly moving to Mastodon from the bird site feels like I just switched to PBS after years of exclusively watching a reality TV show called, I don't know, EXTREME HATEFEST: ORGY ISLAND or something.

Like, yeah, of course it's going to be a little jarring but trust me it's better this way.

Meanwhile the greedheads & scammers & smart money 🤮 hustling #crypto—& the celebrities hustling for them—need a scapegoat, otherwise people they suckered might look at them. Best to load everyone's sins onto SBF.
