Words matter. The Israeli military did not “intercept a ship and escort it to safety.” The Israeli military did commit a violent act of piracy against a UK flagged vessel in international waters as it fulfilled a legal right to reach Gaza and alleviate suffering, then abducted its crew and transported them by force to Israel under threat of execution.

Not a single corporate media outlet has had the courage or integrity to correctly label this horrific injustice. Legacy media has failed us all.

Medievalists. I like to think I am pretty good at finding resources but struggling to find in-depth research into Nicola de la Haye (included searching spelling differences). Has anyone done a thesis or dissertation or book on her specifically? #History #medieval #histodons

Today we went to Scale & Feather Meadery for their Medieval Market event, picked up a few bottles of Butterbrew Mead, had a drink and played a game while there. #SmallBusinessSaturday

We do holiday dinners because everyone has time to do dinners together on the holidays. We don't do them to celebrate the holiday. I would rather be able to get everyone together at random intervals throughout the year, but one must operate on society's schedule in some ways.
