@seedling OSE was mostly a random example, but for sure. As it turns out there’s a vast audience with many niches and I really do love that.

My peak examples is actually Stygian library or Embers of the Forgotten Kingdom. Plug and play into any system and any campaign. But they have strong themes and vibes to help you play a fun game and make some memorable stories.

@seedling 100% I just wonder if some of these NSR projects should've been a campaign and setting booklet for #OSE instead of 15$ Zines with weak mechanics that will be played once if ever.
this is brought to you by me seeing a lot of very interesting #NSR games that will be played once and forgotten.

My hot take is that we just combine #osr and #NSR

The grognards don't wanna hear that some modern game mechanics are good actually. The hipster don't wanna hear grognards are better at being anti-capitalist while still making games people want to play.

Like there isn't that great of resources (in #github) about writing. But there's probably doesn't need to be? But also why isn't there? It's a very nice platform.

Like these:

But even the last one is mostly about code or compsci.

Which is fine. I just wish there was more - non engineer - stuff.

what I really want are more awesome lists on #github regarding art and project management that are talking about this specific issue.
I like the portability of markdown. But I like the power of spreadsheets.

I'm a man of two souls. Two faces of organizing my life, neither are that compatible.

Either I make everything in markdown. Or I put it in a spreadsheet.
