Really sad to see, it didn't even last that long, Hyperion had to be crippled a bit to make it work on Linux and then exploiters started to migrate to Linux to try to cheat again.
Payday 2 has native Linux support and it's never had any issues at all, it runs super smooth at max and launches surprisingly fast.
Until... I wanted to play with a friend, I forgot that the native Linux build was no longer being updated because of them adding Epic Online Services to PD2, so, I waited a good few hours to reinstall the Windows version of the game and managed to play with my friend! Until I got randomly disconnected from the game. Relaunched. Ok, new invite, let's join! Infinite loading screen. Relaunched. Finally, I managed to connect, ran nicely under Proton and then game froze completely... Relaunched. Rejoin friend, infinite loading screen. Relaunched. Friend left the game
