don't spose any #electronics nerds have some guidance on how I can repair this bare wire leading into a charger? I can't reconnect it internally as it's been filled with silicon (or similar)
I was thinking I could use some silicon to cover it back up, but not sure if that's suitable

This slipped under the radar - age verification for search engines in Australia to start in "no later than six months" after the “Internet Search Engine Services Online Safety Code (Class 1C and Class 2 Material)” was accepted by the eSafety Commissioner a few days ago. They're gonna require age verification for way more than just social media.

went to do a price match at #bunnings for an exact item that was on sale elsewhere
was told that they won't do it because it goes against their policy, which states it "excludes trade quotes, stock liquidations, commercial quantities, and items sold by other *Bunnings Group businesses and Bunnings Marketplace"
and according to the person I spoke to twice about the match, an item on sale is a liquidation....
talk about dodgy.
