Built a microblog in less than an hour using Svelte, Planetscale, and Prisma.

Love Mastodon but if there's one thing the whole Twitter debacle has shown me it's that I want to own my own data.

I'll cross-post a lot for a while and I doubt anyone will be eager to visit this regularly, but I'm loving this personal site renaissance we're seeing.

Testing out Mastodon. I had a passing interest but the banning of links to it on the bird app was the motivation to pull the trigger and create an account. I have a habit of doing the opposite of whatever an authority says to do - sometimes a good trait, sometimes a bad one!
