@oldrup Thanks for sharing. So it's not just me :)
Support said they are fixing issues. I really hope this was just a bad rollout.
I notice I'm developing less and less tolerance for bad communication from companies (or none at all in this case). Is that just me getting older?
@oldrup Not sure yet about the actual impact. Just completely shocked by the lack of communication and transparency.
Taking the portal offline which let you download latest versions of all products you own without any notice.
So for some products I have lost all access to what I have a license for.
Not sure how I can trust them going forward after that. Can already see me fighting for a refund, since they decided to poo on lifetime customers :(
@oldrup Situation is still developing.
They rolled out a new "Liquid web" tab in Wordpress which shows your licenses. It does respect most tools as "Legacy" licensed. But some (e.g. Shop Kit) are now gone.
Support says "updates will continue to work". But they nuked the old portal where you could download the products you own. Some are not available in 3rd party repositories.
Hoping they fix this, but it looks like they decided to fuck over lifetime customers that supported Kadence early on.

I installed the "notes" app via snap on a Xenial desktop: sudo snap install notes and launched it using the snap wrapper script "/snap/bin/notes". The script created a directory "$HOME/snap/notes/1", resulting in the placement of the directory named "snap" directly under my home directory, a situation that is undesirable for two reasons: - The XDG spec calls for us...
@oldrup Looking good!
