@futurebird You can use it as a bridge between APIs + use cron to run the script automatically in intervals:
- build a bot that posts an interesting quote / dad joke on Mastodon
- build a script that messages you the latest weather report in your area every few hours
If you want to skip the cron part just put it on a webserver to render a local shell command - e.g. cowsay + random funny quote
Today is European 112 Day 🇪🇺
📞 112 is the EU’s single emergency number.
It connects you to ambulance, fire brigade or police. It’s free of charge across Europe and offers language support in many countries.
A life-saving number everyone should know.
Go draw a horse and watch it run - this is the kind of silliness the internet was originally made for ...
@usul I'm using a Pixel device with GrapheneOS. IMO there just is no alternative at the moment when it comes to security and privacy.
You can get a Pixel device that will have multiple years of GrapheneOS support second hand no problem. Got one as a travel phone to not further support Alphabet.
Hope everything goes well with the projects effort to cooperate with a new OEM. Would be epic to have another hardware line.
Would love some Linux phones too, but seems not to be there yet IMO.
Almost freaked out when I saw this, thought it could be a new VSCode feature.
Turns out, it's a special ligature feature of the Maple Mono font https://font.subf.dev/
