I'm still shocked WoTC hasn't brought back the premium deck series as Secret Lairs. Oh right, they don't gaf about 60 card formats, but will give you a half foil 100 card deck...

The majority of people with money and power don't really care about global warming, because they won't be as affected. They can move, they exist with perpetual air conditioning.

The real people who will suffer the devastation are those in the global south; those without access to adequate cooling and shelter; and those economically unable to uproot their lives.

Global warming is a literally a global economic class genocide.

We've come a long way from the 90s when people were shuffling bare cards. In the not too distant future, Magic influencers will be quint sleeved and shuffling up 98--98 Frameamajiged cards for Commander.
The truth of what will become of Xitter is that it will eventually just be filled with inactive "zombie" accounts and advertising. Nobody real will be left. It'll keep existing, but will be a ghost town compared to what it once was.
It always seems weird to me that Youtube doesn't allow creators announcement pre-rolls on their content that get added in as a first section of their videos until a set datetime. Would be a pretty useful tool for audience/community engagement.
I wish WoTC would drop the notion of Standard being a weak format; cut reprint sets by pushing reprints through standard; and do reprints with art specific to the plane(s) they're working with that set.
making successful 3D expressions in a 2D format is really just a matter of perspective.

Elon for example, took over Twitter at exactly the wrong economic moment and has been frantically scrambling to find a means of making the site make economic sense, where it's all of one or two years in its operational history ever turned a profit.
It isn't that social media sites are trying to kill themselves. They're experiencing a world where cash is expensive and they can't endlessly finance based on revenue vs. also having a sustainable income.
