well, i think it's finally time for me to say goodbye to cybrespace

today marks 4 years since i first joined the fediverse with my first cybrespace account

in those 4 years, this place has changed my life in so many ways. it helped me come to terms with being trans and was the first place that i was ever truly myself. i have found so many wonderful friends through here and i still cherish the memories of the mutuals who haven't logged on in years

i know one of the strengths of the fediverse is the ability to migrate accounts across instances and in a few minutes i'll be migrating to my new account ( @violet_cybrespace ) but it still hurts to have to say goodbye to this instance that has been such an important part of my life for the last 4 years

as always, i'm violet cybrespace, now and forever
