Linux user since KDE / GNOME 2 days! Currently use and recommend Linux Mint with the Cinnamon desktop.

Created own Linux distro (live-cd) back in the day! Currently maintain a VM (BioMint) for teaching and learning Bioinformatics.

Like programming in Python. Interested in GUI development, and planning to checkout NixOS.

flatpak list sorts installed applications by IDs rather than name.

Applications ordered by name would be much easier for the eye to parse. Just a thought.

Just a thought.

Would "Freedom Software" been a better name to refer to
Free and Open Source Software?

For the lay person, free gives the impression the software
is free of cost. There could also be confusion with
freeware programs (closed source).
Also, not many people would immediately get what
"open source" means.

Freedom on the other hand is self-explanatory.
