I must admit that recurrent crashes like this attack my empathy to #openbsd

PS: the disk is new from sep 2023

Today was not fun.

In few hours, a total of 3 crashes on my T460 with OpenBSD.

Does someone has a suggestion to solve this?

Does anyone have problems with obsdfreqd on a laptop doing suspend/resume ?
I've installed it like documented (apmd -L,....) and my machine (7.2) had troubles to resume from suspend cfr photo). Like 2 or 3 resume issues per week.

I've disabled obsdfreqd and back to apmd flags "", and no more crashes at resume.

Obsdfreqd 1.0.3 from pkg_add

The 1st since lot of years, the upgrade of #openbsd is not working 🥴
Any ideas on the root cause?

I did sysupgrade, manual upgrade, same error.
Bsd.rd version 6.8 is the only working.
On the video i'm using directly bsd.mp version 6.8. Same error.

Strange !! knowing that this machine works perfectly with #openbsd 6.7

I've just pushed on SF my new version of nmctl (Network Manager Controller) for #Openbsd.

This new version is compliant with the auto-join committed in -current few weeks ago.

This new version provide a tkinter interface which allow you to graphically select some other network interfaces

Note: the name of the hotel is not a one I've visited 😞 . It's just an example showing a nwid with accented char (instead of hex char).

Next step is tests, tests, tests ...
