Really big mistake from Valve. https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/6121-ECCD-D643-BAA8 They should really look on the History of netbooks and how Microsoft completely destroyed a whole new category of computer. This was step 1.

Crowdstrike was a "no-code" solution indeed. A Zero-code solution, in fact. The code was a file full of zeros.

This strange tweet got >25k retweets. The author sounds confident, and he uses lots of hex and jargon. There are red flags though... like what's up with the DEI stuff, and who says "stack trace dump"? Let's take a closer look... 🧵1/n

So... in the wake of International BSOD day, maybe we should stop trusting closed source software that much? At the very least, we should probably think twice before setting up systems where a company can just push a binary file directly to production code-running kernels without any audit or care.
After the log4J vulnerability was detected and fixed. We were bombarded with constant articles about why we shouldn't trust open source. And I mean there was even a US congressional hearing about the dangers of open source.

I think people really underestimate the power of complete text-based level formats.

e.g: I can see a git diff and remember exactly how a level changed.

I am not terrible at platformers (Level Head)

I really think LevelHead deserves more credit as a platformer. You can play the story mode and just do the pre-made levels and ignore the level making part of it all and it's simply a polished platformer with tight controls and interesting mechanics.

This game is free with Play Pass on Android and 5 USD in the nintendo eshop. The story mode alone is well worth it.
