Hypermedia APIs give you responses with information on what is available in this context so the client knows how to navigate the system.

MCP gives the whole map of what is available overall… and by the way, your LLM can decide how to navigate it.

@overcastfm I know this probably isn't a priority, but (🙂) Overcast used to work on MacOS but with the newest update it doesn't anymore. Renders empty screen.

Would be beatiful it would work. And I do understand if it never will.

Watching Microsoft’s robots telling Microsoft’s other robots that they need to agree to Microsoft CLAs in between Microsoft’s developers begging Microsoft’s robots to actually understand the problems they’re trying to fix in Microsoft's platform code on Microsoft's version-control website is kind of amazing.

This is definitely the future Terry Gilliam promised us.

Tell me what happens in various failure cases, and I'll tell you whether this abstraction is helpful or 💩

I feel for my personal machine, configuration in the terminal is really just about configuring:

1. vim
2. git
3. fish (mostly just env vars / PATH / aliases)
4. ssh (just keys)

For almost everything else I just learn to live with the defaults, it took me probably 15 years to learn to configure vim in a way that I like and in general I don't really have the patience to manage a lot of config
