It looks like I can’t fetch neither global nor local stream of posts in #IceCubesApp. It used to work correctly a couple of months ago. I can see my timeline just fine, or the popular posts, but the option to see the stream/feed of all posts from my current instance or from all connected instances is not loading any content, just gives an error. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it? #fediverse
The fish doorbell in Utrecht is back for another season! “Did you spot a fish? Press the Fish Doorbell! Then our lock keeper can let the fish through.” https://visdeurbel.nl/en/
The Fish Doorbell — The Fish Doorbell

Did you spot a fish? Press the Fish Doorbell! This alerts our lock operator to let the fish through. The Fish Doorbell is in Utrecht, NL.

As age-verification bullshit becomes more common, I am determined to simply not participate in any service or video game that requires it. The day I see the prompt, is the day I leave.

Maybe the government’s hope is that I stop participating in society, but I assure you that I will not. I’ll find or build alternatives, and refuse to comply with bad law.

I hope you will, too.

And as a silver lining, maybe the weird internet we end up creating as a result will suck less than the current one.

It's been years since I played the first LiS. Seeing Max & Chloe still immediately gets me back to postLiS depression.
I don’t know yet how to feel about the new #LifeisStrange game, #LifeisStrangeReunion. I loved original story of Max and Chloe in LIS1 but basically ignored newer instalments, disappointed about the lack of #Pricefield in Double Exposure. I am doubtful of Deck Nine rising to the challenge, but would love to be proven wrong.
Timezones are so silly. New Zealand and Australia are in 2026, Canada is in 2025, and the United States is in 1939.

I'll elaborate. I believe we're in an AI bubble. AI companies are pushing the overton window on AI discourse. They want the most extreme anti-AI sentiment to be "Sure, it's an overhyped technology right now but there will be reasonable applications down the road". I want to see pushback on this. It doesn't matter if I can disable some AI feature in the settings. The fact that Mozilla is jumping on this bandwagon is deeply disappointing to me.
