@mockup The readme in DCS bootloader code base is for custom build of the bootloader from source code. This shows to developers how to deploy their own build. The official build of VeraCrypt is of course signed by Microsoft to allow out of the box experience.

As announced on SourceForge in March, VeraCrypt development is moving to Japan following relocation of main developer @idrassi:
https://sourceforge.net/p/veracrypt/discussion/general/thread/e34d4ee198/

Attached are screenshots of his post.
IDRIX signing keys are still in use. Only @idrassi has access to them.

@ingonymous Yes. Information about the move was posted on Sourceforge forum end of March: https://sourceforge.net/p/veracrypt/discussion/general/thread/e34d4ee198/
We will post a toot about it.

VeraCrypt - Free Open source disk encryption with strong security for the Paranoid

VeraCrypt is free open-source disk encryption software for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. In case an attacker forces you to reveal the password, VeraCrypt provides plausible deniability. In contrast to file encryption, data encryption performed by VeraCrypt is real-time (on-the-fly), automatic, transparent, needs very little memory, and does not involve temporary unencrypted files.

🚨 Attention macOS users!🚨
We've released VeraCrypt 1.26.19 exclusively for macOS to address a regression causing issues after dismounting volumes.
