There was a time when actors all over the world could make a living performing on stage. Then technology came along and made it so all those ticket sales which would have gone to many more actors at the local level went to an elite few starring in movies. What a single Hollywood actor makes could employ dozens of local actors.
You can still go see great actors at the local level, but they are almost always volunteers.
Not defending ai what-so-ever, but this happened before.

@anastasiaart I accidentally discovered this when I was a kid borrowing my grandfather's video camera. It had a very nice optical zoom lever and I'd move toward something while zooming away. Basically my whole life I knew how they did this effect in movies and felt like I was some sort of genius for doing it when I was 9. Lol
Little did I know they were doing this decades before I was even alive.
Sorry, I've got plans already. Maybe next time?
