pokémon forgot the most interesting thing about spain: anarchism

I think I've actually hit an oversaturated point on Pokémon where I don't need to buy any more games unless they're ridiculously impressive and have all the pokémon in them again

when I was a kid I might finish these within a month or something, but now I don't finish them in a year so it's like, if you want me to buy any more you have to put off your announcement by about five more years so I can finish X/Y, Sun/Moon, Sword/Shield, LGPE, and Digimon Redigitize Decode

there are real actual new #pokemon starters and it's not fake?

I am not ready for this

"I'm just a bill" parody that's also a loose reference to the "Kill Bill" series, called "Kill the Bill"

It's probably a very different genre of music [?? I haven't actually watched Kill Bill],
and it goes through every single possible way to get rid of a bad bill

I want to be clear:

I take a nuanced position on real-life communist governments, I don't uncritically accept everything China does or anything

I just think they are a really fun basis for not-very-serious historical fiction that is very under-explored.

do you think if you lived in the world of Atlas Shrugged, there are actual communist countries in there

and everybody is just ignoring them as hard as they possibly can

this makes me imagine that there are just /a ton/ of communist countries everywhere - so it's like this hyperbolic embodiment of the author's worst fears

and the people in that book are the last holdouts trying really hard not to become the final domino.

it's really kind of funny how Animal Farm starts as a fun little cartoon fable,

but the moment you decide to represent global capitalism by bringing in imagery of capitalist industrial farming it really becomes an actual horror story.

in fact i almost feel like there would be *no comparison* between how effectively Animal Farm defends capitalism and how much this one would make you question how big a sacrifice is worth it to fight communism
