🇳🇿Listening to RNZ's political commentary https://www.rnz.co.nz/national/programmes/ninetonoon/audio/2018919015/political-commentators-jones-and-hurdle and I'm intrigued that they refer to the companies their two pundits today represent as 'public affairs firms'... that's just a euphemism for 'lobbying firms', but I suspect most people won't realise that. Why doesn't RNZ just tell it like it is?

He is the director of public affairs firm Capital. Tim Hurdle is a former National senior adviser, was the National Party campaign director in 2020. He is a director of several companies, including Museum Street Strategies, a public affairs firm.
