rendering issues in Tahoe:

@viticci

By courting the madman on the throne on the day of the execution, Cook has done irreparable damage to Apple's reputation.

His actions do not represent the vast majority of Apple employees, or Apple customers.

I would also argue that it goes directly against the interests of shareholders. He devalued the brand.

Moral clarity does not work against business interests. Quite the opposite.

Cook needs to resign.

I have used macOS since classic OS 8.6 - that's before Mac OS X - and have never seen an OS release remotely as messy, buggy, flawed as Tahoe. Countless avoidable bugs. Terrible usability decisions - like putting small symbols next to some, but not all, menu items, for the sole purpose of making menus harder to read. Transparency readability issues are a symptom of countless things going wrong, Choppy animations of basic tasks, like icon view scrolling, Expose, Safari side bar,...
@Cuddy2977 The 'Apps' app is a complete mess. It attempts to sort apps into categories, but that's completely broken. The 'Music' category shows MainStage, but not Logic Pro X. The window can be resized vertically, but not horizontally. Naturally, it forgets the size you set it to on the next launch. Countless avoidable bugs in Tahoe...
@yarrriv If you’re in the EU, you get free hardware repairs for up to 5 years after purchase, depending on country, due to consumer protection laws. That being said- most Mac issues are software issues, not hardware. What are the symptoms?
@tsyum Lossless audio on Apple Music, at no additional charge, better sound quality of lossy audio (mp3, aac), and musicians are getting paid a little more, although not nearly enough…
