So it's okay to have something call up an external service if it's "useful".
Nice double standards.
Gnome has a fucking keyboard shortcut to open the Gnome bug reporter. We should stop using Gnome.
Plasma has a fucking keyboard shortcut to send bug reports to KDE. We should stop using KDE.
Firefox has a fucking keyboard shortcut to search in Google. We should stop using Firefox.
Chromium and all Chromium-based browsers have a fucking keyboard shortcut to search directly against Google. We should stop using all Chromium browsers.
@Szescstopni You wanted affordable, you got affordable. Stop complaining.
Crimping your own Cat5E or Cat6 cable, or going to the store to get a 1m - 3m cable is not going to cost more than a few dollars. And 99% of consumer networking hardware do not require PoE.
In the past cheap networking hardware never even shipped with network cables. I had o crimp or procure my own.
@stefano Regardless of your experiences, a hospital's records and processes *mus* still be hosted in a secure cloud.
Especially in countries where large medical corps operate multiple hospitals in different parts of the country under their name.
Such hospitals *must* be able to access a patient's records from their other branches at all times, and schedule appointments for patients in different branches where required.
Some keyboard issues are beyond explanation.
A certain (very expensive) keyboard I am using has dead arrow buttons.
If i keep hammering them for minutes non-stop, they eventually revive and start working perfectly. For a while.
About 10 to 15 minutes later they are dead again. Rinse and repeat.
There are craptons of Mastodon instances aimed at discussing Linux and FOSS.
That I have not been able to find a single Microsoft or Windows-focused instance says a lot about Mastodon's target audience.
@felix196 No.
I like my desktop to be clean.
