where each of these has a hyphen-letter shorthand too
but also I don't know the threat model to be used, or how to prevent things like "your password is in your logs now"
@dzwdz I think that's a narrative game, perhaps but not necessarily in puzzle genre

*toki pona word for "monster" (and related notions); reasonably applies to cryptids :3
also remembering portmanteux idea, monsuta+suwi (soft/cute), but probably too obscure if i want anyone to catch the reference
@grendel84 i think a mix of all of these would be good? i mostly learned by options 2 and 3 (observing and drawing furry art) myself, with the occasional 1 from pixel/art theory stuffs (not sure i'd call it "formal", but it *is* study)
it can also help to watch other artists work or to ask how they do certain things! you might learn techniques you hadn't considered before
