Autumn Shaganash went missing on June 9 and hasn't been seen since. There has been very little progress on her case and her family has been appealing to the public to help bring her home. Her family is asking for anyone with information to contact Lili-Anne Moore on Facebook here:

https://www.facebook.com/lilianne.moore.98?mibextid=LQQJ4d

or to contact Barrie police.

So I managed to do another transcribed image dump. This time of an old Lacemaking manual called Lace Work: a handbook, illustrated - by Mary E. Bradford.

If you're not familiar with what I do, a hobby of mine is I like to find old public domain crafting books on the internet archive and add image descriptions and transcribe text because many times the ai generated ones are pretty sub par and make the audio buttons moot.

here's the link!

Images pulled from Lace work: a handbook, illustrated by Mary E Bradford circa 1896 I've been learning about bobbin lace, and actually have been practicing on a scaled up version of this technique…

Hiya, I'm Tweedle!

To kick this off I'm linking to a set of photo dumps from a 1922 book on basket weaving that I transcribed because the archive.org auto text was a nightmare.

I do these types of transcribed public domain book dumps every now and again and I also have a website in my bio where you can find loads of free online digital collections, exhibits, and resources!

Note on the text regarding the arrowhead stitch on page 27. This is a very pretty common basketry weave, and if you decide to use it please do not call it Native American "inspired" or "Indian design"...
