you get a message in Slack with a link to the Confluence doc to prep for the meeting on Zoom, where you take notes in Notion, and track project progress on Monday and then update the Trello and you get to the end of the week and instead of doing fucking anything you've just moved bits of information around in 17 different databases and each one costs $15 a month per user...
@dannyjpalmer I have so many issues with the inhumane approach to security awareness, I should write a "how to make people friendly security training" book
Recently saw Oppenheimer in the movies. It left me with thoughts of ethics in science, superpower geopolitics and how it's all relevant in cyber today.
Oppenheimer's teams' thoughts on possibly igniting the atmosphere was seen as a huge conflict in the bomb project. What if we create something that will end us all?
In the cyber world, we have already touched on nearly igniting the cyber atmosphere with self-propagating malware able of seizing hundreds of thousands of computers in it's wake with EternalBlue exploits.
A topical movie indeed. I need to write more on this at some point.
@keira_reckons I'd love to see and participate in this. My first thought in approaching security topics is to try to find an equivalent example from the physical world. E.g. a poor or unprotected password being equal to a poor lock. It helps bring things to perspective with something to relate to.
