Christmas Dash 1.1.1 is out. This is a patch update with some helpful additions.
Occupants and cookies no longer spawn in places you cannot access. This especially applies to cookies since they used to spawn in walls.
Pressing O now tells you how many occupants are in the house, but this is only if you are inside.
Small and medium snowballs have been improved. Small now stuns for 2 seconds instead of 1.5, and medium stuns for 4 instead of 3.
Christmas Dash 1.1 is out. I cannot post the full changelog here as it is too long, but hopefully it solves some bugs that were being experienced. If not, I'll keep looking.
Usually when Christmas is over, I instantly cut the Christmas music with a click. This has been the case for years. This year, what I will do instead is disable it, re-enable the normal music, then let the Christmas music empty itself from the queue. This way, rather than closing out with a bang, we slowly return to normality. Hopefully this keeps the
spirit going for a bit longer, without an abrupt ending.
Great! NiceGram's text box no longer works either. There goes an alternative. If multiple developers would stop using the native Telegram interface (because yes, tons of these third-party clients do), we wouldn't have to deal with things like this. Bright Guide is outdated and hasn't been touched in ages either. If anyone has any Telegram client alternatives, I'm all ears.
Christmas is a bit melancholy this year. I don't want to ruin anyone's mood, so I'm trying to keep it on the down low, but there are definitely some saddening differences between this year's Christmas and last year's.
When it comes to Mr Grinch, I think Voiceplay's is better than Pentatonix's. At times, I feel like Pentatonix tries too hard... it doesn't need to be that intense. Don't overdo it, enjoy it. And I think Voiceplay exceeds at that sort of playfulness that at times, Pentatonix lacks. Now please do not mistake me for saying I dislike Pentatonix. I just think that sometimes, they need to chill out.
I just released Christmas Dash 1.0.1 for Linux. I'll be releasing the Windows version in a minute here, but this one is a test build. It adds a speech interrupt setting, as that is a very important setting for Linux users. Please tell me if it works (works for me but that's because I'm using WSL), and if it doesn't, reach out.
It's crazy how fast devices charge now. Just plugged in my watch to charge. It was at 1 percent, now it's at about 30 percent. I still remember those days where we'd be pacing in front of our devices, waiting for what felt like decades for them to even reach about 5 percent. Fun times.
Didn't know Claude could generate SSH keys on iOS. Very useful. In incognito of course. Was quite annoyed that there were not any accessible apps to do it properly.
The stream seems to be uploaded on YouTube successfully. It took awhile but it looks like it's finally there. You can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/live/KAuQAjvAywg?si=_31sESLsA7C5RnzP
