Bought an old car today – our third Subaru (prior two RIP) and most costly car in our history. Just can’t quit, though! It’s a @2003SubaruOutback plus two. Such a satisfying door thunk. Hoping to add CarPlay and light bar to it soon. #banalipo #oulipauto

I wish I could do away with my angry (shouty) outbursts. It’s got bad in past months (with my dad dying in 2024 & his mum and dad in 2025 (both v. old, I admit)). Family (kids & kids’ mum) copping brunt of it – not good. I’m all tyrannical and wish I wasn’t. Brings to mind Mr Ramsay from Virginia Woolf’s ship-saving book (‘storm’d at,’ &c.). At a loss.
