I don't think a day goes by when I don't wish I could just hit a button in my browser and pay 10p or something to read a newspaper article or similar. Obvz I don't want to subscribe to the Torygraph but a micropayment every now and then, I can stomach. Give me the Web£$€ API now!

To those who have achieved great success, I wish for you this: that you acquire wisdom in such measure as to temper self importance, that you find humility and gratitude in the blessings bestowed, and above all that you give back to the world far more than you have taken from it.

This is for the young progressives out there. When I was a bit younger, I was terribly disappointed with then President Bill Clinton, who signed the hateful DOMA and Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell into law. It seemed he had betrayed all of his values and the LGBTQ community that had helped get him elected. There was a part of me that said I would stand on principle and never vote for him again.

But then I remembered, voting isn’t about loving everything about your candidate. /1
