Sooooo... haven’t posted in a while. Was using Metatext but it’s no longer usable. Gave up waiting for Feditext to get out of beta and officially be added to the App Store.
Heard good things about Mammoth, installed it, and now this (attached image) is what I get for notifications. Any Mammoth users out there? How do I see something crazy like the poster and post that triggered the notification?
I try to be self sufficient. I googled this and the dumbest results were returned. Please help if you can and thank you.
@mattblaze We should probably ask Tom Peters. If he's still available.

@JustOneMoreThing Ohmigosh, for a critter who hunts by sight that sounds really bad. I hope he gets better soon.
@Catlynn Pretty cat! Sniffing the smells! When our dog would sniff the air, my mom would say that he was "smelling the smells." 🙂
@cmconseils HAHA truly!

CBS News has chosen to be a cowardly entertainment company, not a journalism organization, in its cavalier decision not to do any fact-checking in the VP debate next week.

This is an invitation for Vance -- as prolific a liar as Trump -- to flood the zone with bullshit. There's not enough time in a day, much less 90 minutes, for Walz to refute the lies and make his own points.

CBS knows this, and put its thumb on the scale anyway.

VP debate: CBS News says Vance and Walz will have to fact-check each other

When JD Vance and Tim Walz take the stage for next week's vice presidential debate, CBS News says it will be up to the candidates, not the moderators, to fact-check each other. That was a sticking point during the two general election presidential debates heard this year. Last spring, CNN moderators did not correct any points made by Donald Trump and Joe Biden during the debate that eventually led to Biden's withdrawal from the race. But earlier this month during the only meeting so far between Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris, ABC News interjected real-time fact checks of statements made by the former president, infuriating him and his supporters.
