"Accidentally" bought a second #AgonLight (the #Olimex version this time - after all it IS cheaper!) Also 3D printed a case for it. First time I've used heat set threaded inserts in a 3D print. Which was interesting. It took a little finicking to get the threads properly lined up, since I was setting them by hand. Still, it all works. Yay!
Ok, so I stuffed it up, and it was going SO well, lol. Recapping the Frankenstein #macintosh#LC630 for #MARCHintosh and I ripped off a pad (the da%n caps are glued down!!) Anyone happen to know where the + side of C3 goes? cos I'm gonna need a bodge wire...
My first venture into retro Macs resulted in this (yes the vendor seriously thought an apple crate & scrunched up A4 sheets was suitable packing material!!!). SO should I find a replacement bezel (probably cost as much as the Mac when shipped from the US), try to repair it "nicely", or go full FrankenMac? #MARCHintosh
