Thinking of moving to another instance. Mastodon.social is getting a little too big, and I think I would enjoy a more interesting local timeline. Suggestions? Currently thinking about linuxrocks.online/fosstodon.org.
Evil incarnate: devs that use spaces instead of tabs in their code.
Just made a website of mine LibreJS compliant. It's actually pretty easy, just add a little comment in the JavaScript with the license (https://www.gnu.org/software/librejs/free-your-javascript.html). I hope more websites will support it in the future :)
GNU Project - Releasing your JavaScript as Free Software

Hmm, anyone else getting crashes when attempting to watch a video with NewPipe?
Shoutout to Framasoft (https://framasoft.org/en/), I found them recently through @[email protected] and their software is very useful. In particular Framadrop and Framapic are great, file hosting and image sharing without any bells and whistles. No accounts, just upload the files and share the links :)
Framasoft

Framasoft is a not-for-profit popular educational organization, a group of friends convinced that an emancipatory digital world is possible, convinced that it will arise through actual actions on real world and online with and for you!

I've really been liking Liferea lately, a GTK based RSS reader. It's a nice way to organize your news and articles.

I currently have
- Phoronix
- samsai.online
- GamingOnLinux
- Ars Technica

Any other suggestions?

Happy new year everyone 🎉
