@Katharina yes... If the English spoke Welsh! To the Welsh, whether Gog or Southern in a Saesneg - which is like the Scottish Sassenach (though not impolite) and is a variation of 'Saxon' (Wales and Scotland were Celtic lands... England wasn't) #dysgucymraeg #duolingo

@Katharina it's from 'gogledd' meaning north... I did hear of someone saying 'that's not Welsh, it's Gog'... I'm not sure how the 'gogs' feel about it, but being a Northerner from England I see being described as Northern as being a positive! #dysgucymraeg #duolingo
