Just hear me out. Maybe moving into the Speaker's office while still trying to court enough votes to get the job, sends the wrong signal to the people in your party who don't trust you.
Is it me, or does it seem like the rate of deterioration on the other site has increased? It’s really striking how bad it has gotten so quickly.

Good for the Senate to pass this, but I have to say, the 12 GOP'ers who voted Yes are cowards. Why not do this before the election?

It is pretty remarkable, in my opinion, that we let journalists use weak methods to determine for the public what a good school is. Kudos to Yale, but it's going to take a lot more to change the system.

tl;dr - Yale Law School opts out of US NEws & World Report rankings, having held the #31 spot for 32 years.

Yale Law School Abandons U.S. News Rankings, Citing Flawed Methodology

The school, which long held the No. 1 spot, says the ranking discourages support for low-income students and public-interest careers

Little coverage after the election about the voter suppression laws in the red states. Here's my story.

I have requested an absentee ballot for the GA run-off. I'm in California. The county told me they cannot mail the ballots out until likely next week. Then, there will be 14 days until the election, two of which are USPS holidays. I have to receive the ballot and get it back to them BEFORE the 14 days expire. For the general, it was 3+ weeks to receive and return the ballot.

I am convinced about one things in the political polling, election forecasting world. And that is: every 4 years, we immediately follow the midterms with polls and speculation about who the next presidential nominees will be, and that prognostication is never right. Let's give DeSantis and Trump a little less air and focus on governing for maybe a few months.
The New York Times is reporting that Amazon plans to lay off 10,000 people this week.

Nikki Haley says that Raphael Warnock, an American black man born in Savannah, should be "deported". A reminder: there's no such thing as GOP "moderates".
