Two episodes into the new season of The Crown. I hope that creepy old man doesn’t kill Diana if she speaks her mind.

No spoilers!

@sethcotlar what’s so confounding is how his Democratic opponent- a longtime dem operative - didn’t bother finding this out before the election.
The NYTimes today published a piece showing that this newly elected GOP Congressman from NY fabricated most of the life story he told on the campaign trail. The fact that this statement on his behalf ends with a fake Churchill quote is just...I mean come on now...if I wrote it in a piece of fiction you'd give me a stern talking to about how hamfisted that detail was.
Your regular reminder that the founders of the John Birch Society in 1958 were some of the nation's wealthiest industrialists with college educations. The highest concentration of JBS members in the early 1960s was in Orange County, CA, the center of the aerospace and defense industry. Please stop being surprised that a rich business guy like Elon lives in a bubble of evidence-free conspiracy theories and has surrounded himself with like-minded weirdos.

Right now, on Elon Musk's Twitter, the far-right troll who convinced him to ban us is comparing us to ISIS, while Musk is still pretending to be a proponent of "free speech."

The comparison to ISIS is especially absurd, because some of our comrades died fighting ISIS while that particular troll's followers were murdering civilians in the US.

Likewise, Musk is not in favor of "free speech." He is banning accounts like ours at the same time that he reintroduces fascists to Twitter.
