I have an idea for a one-shot convention mystery/horror scenario, which would require players to check some extra clues online. I'm thinking: unlisted Youtube videos, text/art hidden somewhere on the web...
Lots of work but I think it'd be worth it.

@Miru
1. Normal people in abnormal situations.
2. Selfish people
3. Just plain bad people.
I never understood the thing with monsters. In my games there are always people behind monsters. People use them as a strange kind of weaponry.
Except when there are dragons. But in my games dragons are a force of nature. Fighting them is like fighting wind. Sure you can, but it's pointless.
Our GM told us we're the first group that didn't finish his scenario in one game session (out of four he run it for).
Um... Achievement unlocked?
@benbrandt
Don't prep too much. The more you do, the more you are tempted to stick to it at all cost.
Prep light, go with the flow and abandon your plans when they go against fun.
