@hotdogsladies @siracusa This feels RecDiffs-ish so I’m directing it at you: Can you recall the entire track listing of any of the albums you listened to as a kid? Song name and order.
Growing up in the 90s, listening to albums was still a thing, but I could only do 2 and even that took a lot of playing back in my head and a bit of heuristics (this song was definitely before that one, so this other one had to come after them…)
Spacial Finder returns. To iPad? 😅

Re: the following sentence in your iPhones 16 review, do you care most-to-least or least-to-most?
“here are the advantages/exclusive features that jump out to me for the 16 Pro models, other than the extra telephoto camera lens, roughly in the order in which I personally care: “

(Based on the subsequent paragraphs I’m guess most-to-least but honestly I wasn’t sure!)

@gruber did someone edit in an Australian voice here where you say “totally”??
@siracusa @caseyliss @marcoarment Going through back ATPs and was listening to the 2022 Christmas episode. All three of you hit basically my Christmas nostalgia pack: Claymation Christmas (no better Rudolf rendition!), Garfield (kinda lame but still) and the Muppets and John Denver (always on rotation).
John, as a Muppets fan, might I recommend the Muppet’s Christmas Special? Might not hit as an adult but worth a shot.
@siracusa @marcoarment @caseyliss Re: building relationships on social media. A perhaps under-appreciated aspect of Mastodon, if your instance is focused on a topic you’re interested in the local feed can introduce you to people who you don’t follow to start building a social group. Not so applicable to the more general purpose instances, but an avenue nonetheless.
@siracusa I’m sure you’ve already heard this, but re: Waluigi, “warui” (わるい) in Japanese means “bad” and since Japanese doesn’t distinguish l and r, “Waruigi” is in fact a quite a clever name for “bad Luigi” in Japanese at least.

Just got hit by another “subscribe” pitch after visiting a substack and scrolling down a bit. I know it and you know it: Everyone hates this shit.
Rather than this crude bludgeon, put the subscribe link at the _end_ of your article because guess what? Someone who reads _to the end_ might actually want to subscribe!
(Sorry to name drop but I have no followers… was listening to @gruber and @jkottke talk about this and was inspired to share)
