@peterbutler I stereotyped TX too before I moved here. I thought it was all conservative whites. No, it is a lot more mixed than ppl realize. We actually have a big Korean American community, for example. Same with Indian Americans. So we are not all conservative & white! I am white, but definitely not conservative!

@peterbutler I wish I could, but some of us are here because we cannot afford to live in blue states. I wish I could go back to California, but I would probably end up homeless! There are ppl who are more to the left in TX, but we cannot do anything because of the gerrymandering. TX is not as right wing as you think. When ppl were protesting against drag queens reading books to kids in San Antonio, plenty of counter protesters showed up.
