Also goddam I need to migrate my account. I'm still missing features like videos actually working. And editing toots instead of deleting and redrafting. AFAIK, these are both issues with my current server.

I have two big trips coming up.

Israel: Not fun, but important. Seeing my grandma (95) for the first time in about 20 years, and also probably the last time. Also seeing my dad, who I recently re-opened communication with, after about 2 decades of cutting him out. (Messed up childhood and family stuff)

Japan: HOLY CRAPS JAPAN! I wish I booked for 2 full weeks because there are a million things I want to do. But it will still be an amazing trip. I was going to do this pre-covid, then yeah. xD

@ouiji That said, a good rebuttal can be to make it a "treat yourself" day, or even just game with friends or watch a movie together, if that's an option.

@ouiji I firmly believe that Valentine's day (at least it's modern interpretation) is the most exclusionary and unnecessary holiday.
It's the rich celebrating the rich kind of thing. Even when I was with a partner, I didn't want a "special day" to do the things I should be doing on the norm.

@lycoriswah yeah, I don't feel like I can get to know someone well enough at a bar. And looking within friend circles hasn't really gotten me anywhere either. ^^;
