I wrote about my frustration with a lot of aesthetics-deep "Ghibli-inspired" games. Somehow, not only resonated with people, but broke containment and got me nominated for an award!

I'm hearing the Military Parade in DC for Trump's birthday being called "The Trump Fyre Festival" as it was such a dismal showing...

...and that is flipping hilarious.

Meanwhile the #NoKings protests were just absolutely massive everywhere. Big cities and small towns.

Love to see it.

@mauvehed - If you want DnD specifically, you could try a one-shot campaign geared towards kids:

D&D 5e for kids: A list of awesome adventures, hacks, and rewrites! – TTRPGkids

@mauvehed - You might try a kid specific TTRPG like Hero Kids.

It'll teach you how to be a good Game Master. And its simple rules are easy for kids to follow.

@odr_k4tana Yup. That's why I specifically said:

"Long and short... if you're using seasonal meds and you don't have brain issues. Great.

If you are suffering from brain issues and you ARE taking seasonal allergy meds - whatever kind. Try not taking them for a month and see if you notice a difference."

@corq - Yeah. I just went into the doctor and mentioned my severe seasonal allergies. And its just a casual "have you tried over the counter meds?"

Like... there's no warning. No follow up. When I was having the brain issues, I told doctors, including brain doctors, what I was on. And it never triggered a connection to them.

So yeah. Yay.

I'm hoping the same as you, though. Hopefully there is progress. Hopefully awareness provides incentive for progress.

@odr_k4tana - The issue is, we don't always know if its any given medication.

For instance, for Xyzal, it takes several days of continuous taking for the symptoms to show up.

When this stuff is just available over the counter and it says "24 hour relief" and the description says "take 1 every 24 hours".... then you take one every 24 hours.

When the symptoms hit, you don't associate it with the medication.

So. No. Your advice is dismissive. And is not helpful to this conversation.

Look at other responses to see how it's affecting others. This is not common knowledge.
