@hotdogsladies I’ve often wondered where exactly the cheatin’ side of town is.
@bigzaphod ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY’RE REALLY REALLY LOUD!
@jsnell @lexfri Also it’s clear that the author has never heard “Hold the pickle, hold the lettuce…”

Listening to @gruber on https://www.rsspod.net/john-gruber. Really fascinating to hear him talk about what the world was like when he started creating for the nascent web.

When he rattled off the people and sites that inspired him ( @davew, who gets the credit he deserves from John, and @jkottke among others) I couldn’t help wondering if he was a fan of Suck which, for me at least, was an eye-opener to how great even the early web could be..

Really Specific Stories

When I was young, I despised old people who didn’t act like old people.

Now, I am old, and I despise all young people, so it’s a real circle of life type situation.

MacSparky is a pal who periodically lets me appear on his program to wander way off-leash, getting deeply emo about which things I’ve most recently gotten tired of always being wrong about.

If you like that kind of thing, this one will be a real dinger.

Thanks, David.

@christianselig Hey Grammar Girl @grammargirl ht
@christianselig so much wrong in this crowd. The apostrophe-no-s is for plural-possessive. She is not a multitude of people named Mavi. 😎
It’s a very human thing to fret about getting older. But we are as young as we will ever be! Our future selves want us to appreciate the age we are right now
