@PlinyTheOlder I’m definitely looking for something that’s private, especially seeing how our private data has been used over the past years. Something that’s ‘public’ but a decent medium or a good organization that has a private setting would be awesome, though

Out of the blue question, but does anyone have any solid recommends for #writing programs that might be federated or less corporate for #journaling ?

I used #livejournal back and the day and tried #onenote and #googledrive but I’m trying to move away from them, and lately feel overwhelmed by the amount of ads that I experience on my devices.

Watching the ‘Skin of Evil’ episode of #startrek TNG for the first time in a few years, I was really surprised by how much I empathize for the blob who was discarded on an empty planet, misunderstood and lashing out, consumed by feelings of emptiness.

I hate what happened to Lt. Yarr, but there’s something about its desperate thrashing as a misguided attempt to connect to others that hits so differently as I get older.

@RealBillyG The main atrocity that I believe you’re referencing will have been exactly 250 years ago this December, which puts us closer to 200 years ago than 300. Some people say you’re rounding up, being optimistic or looking at the glass half full. Personally, I suspect this toot to come from someone who might put the tea in before the milk. 🧐
