Sad to see you go, even if I was late to the party quite a lot lately.

A7: By treating them professionally he showed them, himself, and his peers that he’s better than they are in every way, and also that his profession is valid and essential even if it isn’t about food. He wins and gets to show off and be dominant over them. It isn’t just altruism or selflessness, although that’s part of it. It’s also an opportunity for him to be the one with higher status.

No. As much they act like bullies, they were doing their jobs. And Migleemo is a Starfleet doctor.
Besides understanding why they did what they did, the “do no harm” part of his training took over. And he is a nice gut that wants to help others.

Q7: Dr. Migleemo agreed to help Legong & Gonald. Was he too nice to them given the way they treated him up to that point? @petertrek1 #StarTrekHour

It’s what his alt universe counterpart would do.
Bold Boimler came out again after meeting him. Call it jealousy or becoming what he can be with effort.

A6: Boimler gets overexcited about his new hyperfixations sometimes, especially when he starts seeing himself as a fanboy of a super cool thing.

Q6: Why is Boimler suddenly so eager to die in a random Klingon ritual for a stranger? @JoeSondow #StarTrekHour
