The Nine Inch Nails #movie #music #soundtrack on #vinyl of Tron: Ares.
Epic Stuff, building on the giant shoulders of Wendy Carlos and Daft Punk, this is a darker industrial sound of grit and electronica that seems perfect for this universe.
Standouts: Infiltrator, Target Identified, New Directive.

It has arrived...
The original #movie #music #soundtrack on #vinyl of Danny Elfman's "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice".
The orchestrated score, not the other one. Not that I have anything against film soundtracks full of pop songs (Reservoir Dogs anyone?) but I would always rather have the actual score, which are always closer to heart of the film.

An unexpected Thing from the Guildford Record Fair...
Found in the £10 bin, a CBS Promo numbered (512) Gold Stamp #movie #music #soundtrack on #vinyl of Ennio Morricone's "The Thing" (1983) in immaculate condition.
This is why thorough crate digging is so worthwhile (as well as a lot of fun).

Jung Jaeil's #movie #music #soundtrack on #vinyl of "Mickey 17" (2025).
Jaeil's minimal, neo-classical score is full of delights and surprises. A concerto that speaks to the soul of Mickey, and colours his inner life with silent-era flair.
Standouts: Multiple, Attention, Mayhem.
The whole soundtrack makes me want to watch the film in silent black and white with dialogue cards and just this glorious score.

This #music #vinyl is the closest we will ever get to an official #movie #soundtrack for Highlander (1986).
This is, of course, "A Kind Of Magic" by Queen.
The original Score by Michel Kamen has never been officially released.
Neither has the now legendary missing Queen version of "New York, New York".
We live in hope, but for now, as unofficial soundtracks go, this is still a fantastic album.

2025. Week 28.
When asked what are my favourite #movie #music #soundtrack on #vinyl the 1979 "Apocalypse Now" always makes the list. I bought this in 1981, years before I saw the film, and was spellbound.
This is the version with the film dialog, so the music and the script become one long fever dream.
It is astonishing and hypnotic, transporting and nightmarish all at the same time.
Find it. Listen. Be amazed.

Waxwork have done it again. The first ever #movie #music #soundtrack on #vinyl of Tobe Hooper and Wayne Bell's The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Even listening to it brings it all back. Not even sure I can recommend it, unless you are really into reliving your nightmares.

After blowing all my cash on rarities, I'm back with this amazing #music #vinyl LP of "Rock n Roll Animal" by the astounding Lou Reed.
Everything about this album is raw, savage, from the gutter and the gates of Heaven itself.
