Twice in one year, I’ve been able to witness* an aurora borealis despite my latitude being rather south for aurora to normally be seen.
*well, this one I could only see through my phone’s camera
May as well throw my hat in the ring. 39°N, and I can see the #Aurora #AuroraBorealis. Absolutely stunning. Never did I think I would be able to witness this in my life. Granted, it’s very hard to see with the naked eye (shot on an iPhone 13, making me hold my hands still for 3 seconds for light capturing), but… wow…
Ah, I see we’ve stumbled on “well maybe climate change isn’t a bad thing…”
Look, we should still green-ify our power grid (renewables are so much better than fossil fuels, there just isn’t a one-and-done answer, you have to do them all) and work to make our lives more compatible with nature.
Even if you don’t think climate change is real, you should still think that those are valid reasons to reduce fossil fuel usage.
And as someone who hates sweating, no I don’t want a hotter world, thanks.

So, were the insurrectionists on January 6th, 2021 only “appearing to” threaten to hang the then-current Vice President too, AP? No, they were just threatening. Similarly, Trump is not “appearing to promise revenge,” he is just “promising revenge.” And, devil’s advocate, if he’s not, it should still be treated as such. He and his followers are a clear and present danger to the United States, probably the largest domestic terrorist group. We should treat them and their mob boss as such.
