Okay, so I played a hidden object game on stream Saturday, and had a great time. Next time I will play Wheel of Fortune through the years - old versions of the classic wheel-spinning word game up through more recent iterations. :D

@belghast Just canceled, and I was a day one GamePass user. The $19.99 for Ultimate was already too expensive, a $10 increase per month is absolute insanity. Done with Microsoft *and* Nintendo so far this year, wonder what Sony's got up their sleeve for me to save more money against?

My oldest pup passed on Thursday. He was 15, and one of the best dogs I've ever known. He was my companion, my therapist, my snuggle buddy, and my supervisor for any time I worked on a project (whether it be cooking, building something, or even just playing games). I miss him so much already. Rest easy, Hawke. You deserve your retirement. Love you, buddy-boy.

Our loved ones never truly leave us, do they? He'll be with me every day of my life going forward.

@kris I've been working really hard on trying to get my head around "do what you need to do, not what everyone wants you to do" and it's been a slow struggle. I hope voicing it helped - hearing someone else struggling with this makes me feel a bit better about it, I think.

I'm all for people playing the way they want, but I find the discourse around FFXIV to be some of the most garbage I've seen for the game in a very long time. Don't use mods that impact other people -- it's a simple thing that you can do to avoid the ire of Squenix. It's their game, their right to shut down whatever mods they want. Either don't bitch or move on, but complaining makes you look like a nob.
