Its been a whirlwind 24 hours but I've had some time to reflect on this. The election was both shocking...and not. But the results are what they are. I have a friend who doesn't want to go out with my wife tonight to "watch over her husband". But we survived 4 years before. Did a lot of it suck? Sure. Did ALL of it suck? No. And we're still here. Use this to get involved. Fight for your rights. And embrace optimism. Anger and pessimism are useless emotions.
